Diary Entry 11

I have now completely finished my video and have successfully uploaded it to YouTube. The link to the page is this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-exMMC9Nrc. From here on in i need to get feedback and do an evaluation.

Diary Entry 10

I have now finished my video, after adding the soundtrack and the xbox pack shot which i put together at home. Today i have also downloaded the xbox swoosh sound to go along with the advert and i have also added a transition that looks relatively similar to the one that they use in Inside Xbox so it still contains some similarities. I now need to get on with exhibiting my video to its target audience and getting feedback. I will also need to do an evaluation, before i completely finish this assignment.

Finished Advert

I have tried to post my finished advert on to Blogger but the results have been unsuccessful so i have been advised to put my advert on to youtube. I am fortunate enough to already have my own youtube accunt so i do not have to waste much time setting up one. I will post a link on my blog soon once the video has been uploaded.

Diary Entry 9

Today (23rd) i was able to upload my footage from the camera onto an Apple Mac, after a few attempts it finally uploaded successfully as i was able to get underway with editing. I was lucky enough to get in two sessions of editing in today as i was able to use the Mac room whilst John was teaching which was very helpful as by the end of the day i was able to cut together my final piece. I have slowed the video down so that it also fits in with the music from the soundtrack. I also added a 'fade in' at the start so that the beginning is not so abrupt. All i need to do now is add a pack shot of the xbox logo and my slogan at the end of the video and my project will be complete bar from an evaluation and other similar post production paperworks.

Diary Entry 8

On Monday 21st i shot all of my video that i needed to i was able to get a suitable amount of people to act in my video including those that i had asked before-hand, Jenna Rosen and Nathan Pickett and i got Daniel Rushton, Crystal Rosen, Roseanne Tyson and Nik Longhurst to be in it also. As of this date i am now able to edit my footage in my post production sessions. I have already downloaded a soundtrack for my advert so i have one less thing to worry about when it comes to editing.

Diary Post 7

I missed an excellent opportunity on Friday to do some filming i had a large selection of volunteers to be in my film, so i had the time, equipment and people but what i didn't have was the one and only prop that i need, my xbox controller and without that i was not going to film as i did not want to shoot on two different dates as the white balance may be different and some actors may have changed clothes. So i would like to get the whole thing filmed in one session. I have the prop in today however there is not many people in the class so i still cannot film as there are not enough people to be in my film, i shall hope for a better attendance tomorrow.

Diary Entry 6

I have finished my pre-production work. And i am thinking about thinking about filming next lesson which is 09/06/2010. I will need to bring in a XBOX controller to use as a prop. I also need to use as many people as i possibly can to make the video look as authentic as possible. I have already asked Nathan Pickett and Jenna Rosen to be in my video and they have accepted. So i need to ask a few more people to be in my video soon before i start filming.
